Dear participating Waterpolo Clubs of the VI edition of the International Waterpolo Masters Cup of Spain.
 
The Organizing Committee is very proud to see the high interest that participating teams, and up to 12 other teams which could not enter due to organizing restrictions, have taken in this year's edition of the International Cup of Spain. The schedule of the championship is on going perfectly and all the details for hosting one of the best international tournaments ever are being sorted out with no problems so far.

The great waterpolo level skills and the achievements that we know all participants have makes us anxious to witness great games during the championship. Therefore one of the key moments in this year´s edition is the group composition for the round robin qualification.

On  March 31st, 2009 the group composition draw was officially held in the Madrid´s Swimming Federation with the presence of the highest members of this institution together with the members of the Organizing Committee. The innocent hand that drew the names of the teams was one of the Federation´s Secretaries.

We wish all the participating teams all the best and we are looking forward to meet you all in Madrid.
